List of New Zealand exchange-traded funds

An exchange-traded fund is an investment fund traded on a stock exchange which holds assets, as opposed to being a trading company. Such funds typically track an index.

There is one provider of exchange-traded funds in New Zealand, the New Zealand Exchange, under the SmartShares brand. Currently they have 23 ETFs. Eleven ETFs track both New Zealand and Australian stocks, nine invest directly into US listed Vanguard ETFs, and three have outsourced active management covering fixed income and cash.[1]
