Heuvelmans' blenny, Lipophrys heuvelmansi, is a species of combtooth blenny, distributed in the Adriatic Sea: Zelena Laguna, near Poreč (Istria, Croatia). The name of the species is dedicated to French-Belgian cryptozoologist Bernard Heuvelmans. However, a study conducted in 2015 showed the synonymy of L. heuvelmansi with Microlipophrys canevae, so L. heuvelmansi must be considered junior synonym of M. canevae. In fact, from the study, the two species showed no differences in morphology, meristics and colors.
