Leslie Osborne (composer)

Leslie Osborne (1905–1990) was an English composer of light music and themes for television and radio. As a composer he wrote a number of lighter orchestral pieces such as Lullaby for Penelope, although nowadays he is perhaps best known for co-composing the original theme to the BBC soap opera EastEnders with Simon May, in 1984. [1] Other television credits include The Secret War, Cold Warrior and Howards' Way.[2]
