Leonel Gerardo Moreira Ledezma (born 4 April 1990) is a Costa Rican football player, currently playing for Herediano in Primera División de Costa Rica, and for the Costa Rica national football team. Osito plays as a goalkeeper.[1]

Club career

Moreira came through the Herediano youth system[2] and has only played for the Florenses.

International career

Moreira was a of Costa Rica's 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup squad,[3] where Costa Rica finished 4th after losing to Hungary in the 3rd place match.

He made his senior debut for Costa Rica in a July 2011 Copa América match against Colombia[4] and has, as of May 2014, earned a total of 5 caps, scoring no goals. He was a non-playing squad member at the 2011 and 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cups.

Personal life

Moreira is married to Yuli Granados and they have a son, Santiago[5]
