Leila Ameddah
Leila Ameddah, ليلى أمداح (born 21 April 1962 Batna, Algéria), is an Algerian painter and sculptor.[1][2][3]
Life
Leila Ameddah is a self-taught visual artist.[4][5] She is a dentist, and lives and works in Batna. She has participated in several national and international exhibitions from 1984 until today.[6] She is influenced by Berber culture[7] ·
Exhibitions
Her first exhibitions[8] were during her student days, from 1983 to 1989. She has exhibited internationally:
- 2003 - L’Année de l'Algérie en France, à l'atelier-galerie Karim Meziani /Nice. Galerie Nithael / Nice, Lille et Lyon
- 2007 - la semaine culturelle algérienne, en Arabie saoudite.
- 2009 - Exposition Portes ouvertes des ateliers d’artistes en France, organisée par les départements du Nord et du Pas-de-Calais
- 2012-Exposition collective en Tunisie, galerie LOTUS
