Lawrence Pearce
Lawrence Pearce 15 June 1980 is a feature film writer, director, photographer based in London, England.
He studied at the Chelsea College of Art and Design before completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photomedia, combining photography and film making.
Pearce directed Night Junkies in 2006, starring Giles Alderson, Katia Winter, Rene Zagger, Sasha Jackson and Jonathan Coyne.
Night Junkies was released by American distributors Allumination FilmWorks in 2007. In 2008 Content International sold the rights to various European territories including to Zone Horror on Sky television for the UK.
Pearce wrote the screenplays for Cain's Awakening in 2009, an action/thriller set in Chinatown, and Lost Inside in 2013, a psychological horror. Both were optioned for production but remain in development.
Outside of filmmaking, Pearce has written two novels, The Haunted Hikikomori in 2013 and Need Love in 2014, as well as a graphic novel of Cain's Awakening working with Brodie's Law and 2000AD artist David Bircham.
