Laurence Skelly MHK is a Member of the House of Keys for Rushen, in the Isle of Man and Minister for Department of Economic Development.[1] In 2011, he was re-elected for Rushen, Isle of Man.
Laurence David Skelly is an independent candidate and was sworn in on 4 October 2011.
He is now the Minister of Economic Development, this was announced on 2014.
On Monday, 27 Jun 2016 he said he would be standing for the 2016 General Election.[2] However, following the 2016 general elections he announced he wouldn't be standing for Chief Minister [3] following allegations he hadn't told the truth about losses to a show on the island by the Jacksons.
