Kisco Senior Living, based in Carlsbad, California owns and operates 19 full service senior living communities in six states offering both independent and assisted living.

Kisco Senior Living is ranked in the top 40 on the American Seniors Housing Association list of the Nation’s largest senior living owners with 1,450 employees and 22 communities totaling 3,512 units. The company currently operates in 8 states (California, Florida, Nevada, North Carolina, Virginia, Texas, Utah, and Hawaii). Two of Kiscos communities totaling an additional 868 units in various stages of development. Current product mix includes independent living, assisted living and memory care communities. Slightly over two-thirds of Kisco’s existing inventory is focused on independent living with the remaining units dedicated to assisted living and memory care. Communities range in size from 63 to 264 units with an average size of 162 units. Total assets under management exceed $450 million.
Kisco began acquiring properties in 1990 and established its property management capability in 1995. Mr. Andy Kohlberg is President and Chief Executive Officer and the primary decision maker on all operating and business matters.
Kisco Senior Living is structured around a team-based model at both its Home Office and at each community. Home Office service teams directly support the on-site Executive Directors and their community management teams.
