Kianoush Ayari (in Persian: کیانوش عیاری) is a director and screenwriter who was born in 1951 in Ahvaz, Iran. He began his career as film critic, Editor and screenwriter. Ayari in 1970 he joined the Ahvaz Free Cinema Group.[1][2] Ayari Won Silver Leopard Locarno International Film Festival in 1994 and two winner Crystal Simorgh for Best director.
