Demographics
As of 2011 India census,[1] Khulna had a population of 5327. Males constitute 50.66% of the population and females 47%. Khulna has an average literacy rate of 80%, higher than the national average of 49.34%: male literacy is 84%, and female literacy is 75%. In Khulna, 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.
