The Kent Police Department (KPD) is the municipal law enforcement agency of Kent, King County, Washington, United States. The main police station is located in downtown Kent.

Staff

The department staffing consists of approximately 178 sworn officers and 42 civilian personnel, as well as an active volunteer program. KPD is an internationally accredited law enforcement agency. Specialty assignments include: S.W.A.T, Riot Team, K9, Detectives, Special Investigations Unit, Special Operations Unit (bikes and boat), Neighborhood Response Team, Traffic, Negotiator, and Field Training Officer.
