Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Kanpur is a school situated in the IIT Kanpur campus, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in the year 1965 and is part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya system of schools. It has classes from I to XII.

In 1965, IIT Kanpur granted two bungalows for the establishment of the school with Shri D.S. Bajpai as the founder principal of the school. In the beginning, the total strength of the school was merely 60 and there were only 4 standards in which they could study, i.e. Class 6th to Class 9th. Now the school has grown to 7 standards, classes 6th to 12th, each of which have five sections each. Along with that, the school accommodates a secondary wing of buildings that conduct primary classes from 1st to 5th standard.[1]
