Kaylani Lei (born August 5, 1980) is a Singaporean–American pornographic actress of Chinese and Filipino descent.

Early life

Lei was born in Singapore and spent most of her childhood in Massachusetts, United States.^[5] She is of Chinese and Filipino descent but does not speak any Tagalog.^[6]

Career

Lei danced at Olympic Garden in Las Vegas prior to her porn career.^[7] She is a former contract performer for pornographic production studio Wicked Pictures.^{[6][8][9][10]}

Outside her adult film work, she was the host of a radio show on KSEX, Me So Horny with Kaylani Lei.^[11] Lei has made an appearance on the Howard Stern radio show while he was on national broadcast radio (pre-Sirius satellite radio change over), and she has made appearances on Playboy TV. In 2007, she was the co star of the Cinemax series The Erotic Traveler, as "Allison Kraft" - an apprentice erotic photographer.^[12][13] She appeared in one episode of the 2011 series Chemistry as a Japanese businesswoman named Yokushi Shimato.

According to the Internet Adult Film Database, she has worked in over 200 films, including Beautiful, Kaylani Unleashed and Space Nuts for Wicked.^[4]

In 2010, Lei appeared alongside fellow Wicked Pictures contract star Alektra Blue in the Free Speech Coalition's "All-Star Anti-Piracy PSA"^[14] on the topic of copyright infringement of adult content.^[15]

In 2011, Complex magazine ranked her at #24 in their list of "The Top 50 Hottest Asian Porn Stars of All Time".^[16]

Lei has also appeared several times on the TV series Zane's Sex Chronicles^[17] and in the 2013 documentary Risky Business: A Look Inside America's Adult Film Industry.^[18]

Lei dated Byron Kelleher, a New Zealand rugby union halfback,^[1][2] from 2005 to 2006. She lived with him in New Zealand until June 2006.^[3]
