KWEM-LP (defunct)
KWEM-LP was a low-power television station in Stillwater, Oklahoma, broadcasting locally in analog on UHF channel 31 as a part-time affiliate of America One. Founded January 17, 1995, the station was owned by Westwood Media Group, Inc. It devoted a significant part of its schedule to locally produced programming, including a morning and evening newscast and Oklahoma State University athletics, as well as an auction TV show well-known among local residents for the random and unusual selection of items sold.[1]
On April 7, 2011, the Federal Communications Commission cancelled the station's license and deleted the KWEM-LP call sign from its database.

1Though nominally an independent station, KAUT simulcasts select programs from Antenna TV on a secondary basis; KFOR-DT 4.2 will retain its full-time affiliation with Antenna TV.
2As Me-TV's affiliation contract with KOCO does not take effect until October 1, 2012, the second digital subchannels of KOCO and KSBI will share the Oklahoma City market's This TV affiliation through September 30. KOCO 5.2 will join Me-TV thereafter, while KSBI 52.2 will become the market's exclusive This TV affiliate. |
