K. V. Shanthi known by her stage name Shanthi is an Indian actress in Malayalam movies. She was one of the prominent lead actress during the late 1960s and 1970s in Malayalam,Tamil,Telugu &Hindi.[1]

Background

She is born at Kottayam, Kerala, later moved on to Chennai. She is married to Sasikumar and they have one son named Shyamkumar.[2] She was one of the permanent actress of Merryland Studio's movies. She has acted more than 50 Malayalam movies and few movies in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi .[3]
