Justin Scott Worley (born November 20, 1992) is an American football quarterback who is currently a free agent. Worley played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers.
Early years
A native of North Carolina,[1] Worley attended Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where he was teammates with Cordarrelle Patterson. As a sophomore, Worley led Northwestern to state championship game against town-rival South Pointe High.
Regarded as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com, Worley was listed as the No. 24 pro-style quarterback in his class.[2] He was selected as the national high school Gatorade Player of the Year in 2010.[3]
College career
Worley played backup to Tyler Bray most of his first two seasons (2011–2012) at Tennessee and only started nine times before 2013. In 2013 he was named the starter after training camp. During the 2013 season he was able to find some success but his personal achievements did not lead to overall team success. He was benched after Tennessee's loss to Oregon for Nate Peterman. Peterman started the next game against the Florida Gators, but played poorly in the first half. Worley was put into the game in the second half and would continue to start in all other games until he was injured against Alabama. His most notable performances in 2013 were against Georgia, where Tennessee almost upset Georgia in an overtime game, and against South Carolina where he led Tennessee to its first win over a ranked team in several years with a game changing pass to Marquez North which set up a field goal to win the game. He had season ending thumb surgery.[4]
In 2014, Worley was named the starting QB for the Vols for his Senior season. He started in seven games beginning with Utah State and ending when he was injured against Ole Miss. As a result he had season-ending shoulder surgery.[5] His season totals were 1579 passing yards, 12 TDs, 8 INTs, 62.3% completion percentage, and was notably sacked 29 times.[6]

Professional career
On November 24, 2015, Worley was signed as an undrafted free agent to the Chicago Bears' practice squad.[8] His contract with the Bears was terminated on December 8.[9]
Personal life
His parents are Peyton Worley and Angela Worley. He has one younger brother, David Worley.
