Justin Landry
Justin Landry is an award-winning Canadian comic actor. He was the host of the highly rated Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) high school quiz show "SmartAsk!" and starred opposite Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club) in the Hallmark original film "Cancel Christmas."[1] Landry has also appeared in numerous television shows in Canada and the United States, including: Beauty and the Beast, 12 Monkeys, The Strain, Murdoch Mysteries,[2] Odd Squad[3] and Saving Hope. He has also lent his voice to numerous radio and television commercials as well as animated projects, such as Detentionaire and The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That. He has also appeard on the Canadian panel show Too Much Information.[4]
He is a well-known commercial actor, starring in dozens of commercials since 2000, including for Honda, Walmart, SpongeTowels, McDonalds, BuildingBox, Tim Hortons, and ProLine.[5] He won a Best Actor Award at the 2008 Bessies for his role as Elevator Small Talk Tony in a Diet 7Up ad.[6]
He lives in Toronto with his wife and three children.
