Jurjentje Aukes Rauwerda
Jurjentje Aukes Rauwerda (14 December 1812, in Oentsjerk – 3 October 1877, Amsterdam), was a Dutch prostitute and procurer. She is famous among members of her profession in the contemporary Netherlands. She and her husband Benjamin Salomon Weinthal (1802-1855) founded and managed a famous brothel in the Netherlands, Maison Weinthal on the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal in Amsterdam, between 1848 and 1877.
