Julia Turner (journalist)
Julia Turner is an American journalist and critic. She has been the editor-in-chief of online magazine Slate since 2014, replacing David Plotz.[1][2] She was one of a panel of three hosts on WNYC's Gabfest.[3]
Early life
Turner graduated from "Brown University, grew up in Boston and is the daughter of two former Boston Globe journalists."[2] She joined Slate as an editorial assistant in 2003.[4]
She is married to HBO producer Ben Wasserstein.[4]
