Jon Foster (writer)
Jon Foster (born 18 September 1981) is a triple BAFTA winning English film & TV comedy writer. He grew up in Cheltenham, attending The Richard Pate School, Dean Close School and then studied English and History at Trinity College Dublin graduating in 2005.
Television & Film work
Alongside writing partner James Lamont, he has written the forthcoming "The Harry Hill Movie", two seasons of The Amazing World of Gumball for Cartoon Network for which he won a BAFTA Children's Award in 2011 and 2012, The Armstrong and Miller Show for BBC One (BAFTA winner 2010) and School of Comedy for E4. He filmed a sitcom pilot for E4 in 2013 and is currently working on commissioned scripts for Big Talk Productions, Objective Productions and a film for Heyday Films and Studiocanal.
He co-created Bryony Makes a Zombie Movie for BBC Three which was BAFTA and Rose d'Or nominated in 2009. He also worked as a producer on 10 O'Clock Live for Zeppotron and Channel 4.
