John Kaippallil (born 24 January 1989) is an Indian film actor, who works in Malayalam cinema[1] and an uprising model.[2]

Personal life

John Kaippallil was born in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, as the son of Mariamma and K Mathew John. He has a brother, who is working abroad. After completing mechanical engineering from Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. John started working as a Maintenance engineer at the Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL).[3] He started modelling along with the job.[4] He did photo shoots and TV commercials for famous brands like Basics Life India, Genesis India, Myntra, Rexona and a lot more.

Career

During 2010, he started modelling after his graduation and by 2012 February he joined the movie 'Thattathin Marayathu', directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, which got released in July 2012 leaving John's character 'Imtiaz' famous among Kerala audience.[5] He then acted in Gautham Vasudev Menon's 'Yennai Arindhal' (Tamil), which got released in 2015 February. John's career got a great break through the role he did for the movie 'Ann Maria Kalippilaanu'[6][7] directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas
