Jo Hyun-jae (born May 9, 1980) is a South Korean actor. Jo made his entertainment debut as a singer in the four-member K-pop boy band Guardian, which disbanded after releasing their self-titled album in 1998. In 2000, after he drew popularity when he appeared in a commercial for sports drink Pocari Sweat, Jo began acting. He is best known for his leading roles in Love Letter (2003), Only You (2005), Ballad of Seodong (2005), and 49 Days (2011).[1][2][3]
Personal Life
Jo Hyun jae was discharged from the Army on June 19, 2010. He admit that he was enjoying his time in the Army back then. After he was enlisted, he explains some of his duties: he received basic training and education and he had to patrol every night, which he finds it very difficult. In 2011, he gained his popularity after becoming the lead actor in the drama 49 days as Han Gang. From that drama Jo Hyun Jae received many loves from his fans around the world, especially from Japan. The latest news about him was that he created his personal Instagram account on 2015.
