Jim Van Bebber

Jim Van Bebber (born November 24, 1964 in Greenville, Ohio) is an American film director. Van Bebber attended Wright State University where he studied cinema. Instead of using a bank loan to pay for a second year of college, he used the money to finance Deadbeat at Dawn, and founded the indie film company Asmodeus Productions with several colleagues. The Manson Family took more than ten years to complete.

Van Bebber is currently involved in the production of a feature-length horror film titled 'Gator Green'.

Van Bebber has directed music videos for bands such as Pantera, Superjoint Ritual, Skinny Puppy and Necrophagia.

Van Bebber won a scholarship to film school based on his eight-millimeter kung fu epic Into the Black, a prototype for Deadbeat at Dawn.

As of 2014, Van Bebber was working on developing and starring in the 2014 remake/revival horror film American Guinea Pig.
