The Jianxing Formation is located in Suileng County, Heilongjiang Province and is composed of basal conglomerate, gravel-bearing coarse-grained sandstone, with interbeds of siltstone, mudstone and coal seams. The Jianxing Formation has been dated to the Early Cretaceous period.[1]
