Jasar Takak (born 4 March 1982) is an Aramean Dutch footballer.

Career

Early career

Born in 's-Hertogenbosch by Aramean parents from Turkey,[1] Takak started his career with local side RKVV Sint-Michielsgestel. Takak was a big fan of PSV Eindhoven, and after impressing PSV scouts and staff on an arranged talent day, he joined their youth at age eleven.

PSV

In 2002, Takak was picked for PSV's first team. Although being in the squad, he never played any matches for the first team. In September 2003, FC Zwolle showed their interest in the young player, and after playing a training match, he was loaned out for one season. In Zwolle, he is in the starting lineup and even manages to score 8 league goals.

For Takak, his chances seemed brighter with PSV, but it was decided that he would be loaned out another season. Several clubs showed their interest, but he chose to play for RKC Waalwijk. Once again, he was loaned out for one season.

In the summer of 2005, he returns to Eindhoven, only to learn that he is going to leave on a free transfer. After interest from several Dutch clubs, he signs a loan deal with NEC. With NEC, he starts in the starting lineup, but after manager Cees Lok's dismissal, he loses his starting position, and leaves NEC after only one season – without signing a new deal. His contract with PSV ends, and Takak spends the 2006–07 season outside professional football.

Vitesse

After spending the season on the training ground of Roda JC, Takak signs a one-year contract with Vitesse Arnhem. Although playing a strong season, he was not offered a contract extension. Again, there is no concrete interest in the midfielder from any club, and he is invited to train with Willem II, to keep up his fitness.[2]

VVV-Venlo

In the preparations for the 2009–10 season, he is invited for training with VVV-Venlo. He impresses the staff, but due to limited estimate, he is offered an amateur-contract with VVV. He once again signed a contract for one year.[3]

Takak was released at the end of the 2009–10 season.[4]

SC Cambuur

In January 2012, after being a free agent for one and a half year, Takak signed with SC Cambuur until the end of the season.

Etar Veliko Tarnovo

He signed with Etar 1924 in 2012 after being approved by manager Serdar Dayat.
