Jamia Islamia Faiz-e-Aam, Mau is an Islamic madrasa in Mau. It was established in 1946 with an objective to impart religious knowledge to Muslims of Mau however later on it has diversified its educational system and now it has many other schools and colleges for contemporary education such as Muslim Inter College, Mau for boys, Faiz-e-Aam Niswaan, Mau for girls' education.[1] Mau has remained a hub for Islamic education for centuries and this institute is also carrying the same repute. It has produced many great scholars, poets, and leaders such as Salim Ansari, Fiza Ibn-e-Faizi, etc.[2]
