James Elliot Goodman (born 19 November 1990) is an English cricketer who played for Kent County Cricket Club. He is a right hand top order batsman, and right arm medium pace bowler. He toured to India with the first team squad, and scored a hundred in his only innings with the full squad. He made his second team debut on 29 August 2006, and was 12th man for the first team on a number of occasions. On 16 July 2007, he made his full Kent debut in a limited-overs match against the touring Sri Lanka A side, claiming one catch.

In the summer of 2007 Goodman was named England U-16 Captain in a three day test series. In November of the same year, Goodman was selected along with 14 others, to represent the England U-19 team at the World Cup in March 2008, with Goodman being the youngest in the touring party.

On 28 June 2010 Goodman made his first class debut for Kent versus the touring Pakistanis. He took a wicket in his 6 overs and was second top scorer in Kent's first innings with a score of 59.
