James B. Simmerman
James B. Simmerman (born November 19, 1944) in St. Louis, Missouri, was a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officer and Homicide Detective, U.S. Army Military Policeman, Chief Legal Investigator for the St. Louis Medical Examiner, and Management Consultant for the APC Skills Co.
He was the Marshall, Missouri Chief of Police from 1983 until retiring in 2008. Following retirement from the Marshall Police Department, as a non-paid volunteer, he created the Saline County Criminal Justice Training Center (Marshall, MO) and was it's Executive Director until moving to Crawford County in 2015. Currently, he is the Owner/Director of Creative Management Consultants and Deer Creek Law Enforcement Training Center in Crawford County, Missouri.
