Jacob LaTurner is a Republican member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 13th District since 2013. Since joining the Legislature he has vowed for transparency reform and has promoted efforts to expand the Kansas Open Record Act (KORA) and the Kansas Open Record Act (KOMA).[1][2] LaTurner has vowed to improve governmental transparency and balance the state budget by signing onto the BETTER Kansas Plan.[3]
