Initialized Capital
Initialized Capital is a venture capital fund founded in 2011 and headquartered in San Francisco. It was founded by Alexis Ohanian and Garry Tan.[1] As of 2016, it has raised $46.15M in funds.[2]
History
It raised $7 million in its first fund. In February 2012, it filed its Form D notice of exempt offering of securities.[3] It raised $39 million in its second fund on August 2013.[4] On June 7, 2016 the firm announced a $100M target for its third fund. While its founders came from Y Combinator, it is not associated with Y Combinator in any way.

Philosophy
It focuses on seed and early stage venture investments.[2] It looks for high-quality founders first and then tries to see if it can help or understand the market a company is attacking in any way [5]
