"In The Back of My Mind" is a single released in 1990 by British-American band Fleetwood Mac from their album Behind the Mask. The song was lifted as the second single in select European markets. The only had an impact in the UK, where it peaked at #58. It was not released in the US, where "Hard Feelings" was released as the second single instead. Both singles were cowritten by Billy Burnette, who was one of the guitarists drafted in to replace Lindsey Buckingham.
The B-side of "In the Back of My Mind", "Lizard People", was written by Mick Fleetwood and Peter Bardens, a former band mate of Fleetwood.[1] "Lizard People" is one of the few Fleetwood Mac songs with Fleetwood on lead vocals.
