Illusive Comics (or Illusive Comics & Games) is a comic book store in Santa Clara, California, owned by publisher Anna Warren Cebrian.[1][2][3][4][5]
Background
In the 1980s, Illusive Comics began as Brian's Books. In 2016, a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign was set to help fund a move to Franklin Mall. The increased space would allow for more events to be hosted as art classes, writers workshops, and meetups including a role-playing game/knitting mashup called "Hook and Roll."[5]

In July 3, 2015, Illusive Comics was nominated for Diamond Retailer Best Practices Awards: Summer 2015.[9] In May 7, 2016, for another Free Comic Book Day, $2,700 was raised for Parents Helping Parents.[4] In May 11, 2016, Firefly actor Alan Tudyk visited Illusive Comics to sign DVD copies of his web series Con Man and his comic book Spectrum.[10] Donations for Parents Helping Parents were also being accepted at the Tudyk signing.[4] In September 18, 2016, nerd-folk musical duo The Doubleclicks and musician Lucia Fasano (Portlandia, Catty B's) played at Illusive Comics as part of their Snakes On The Radio concert tour.[11][12]
