Ihor Anatoliyovych Shevchenko (Ukrainian: Ігор Анатолійович Шевченко; born January 10, 1971 in Oleksandria) is a Ukrainian politician who was Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources from December 2014 till July 2015.[1] He was appointed to the cabinet under the Fatherland party quota.[2]
According to Shevchenko, Yatsenyuk has repeatedly asked him to resign.[3] On 2 July 2015 the Ukrainian parliament fired him because "[the ministry] doesn't fulfill its basic functions and obligations".[4]
