Igor Albert Rinck de Diver Camargo (born 12 May 1983), known as Igor de Camargo, is a Brazilian-born naturalized Belgian footballer who plays for Cypriot club APOEL FC as a striker.

Club career

Standard Liège

De Camargo was a key player for Standard Liège and began playing in Belgium when he was just 17. In January 2009 he signed a new contract until June 2013. In the 2009–10 season, he played in all but one league game for Standard Liège and scored seven goals. He can also play as a second striker.

Borussia Mönchengladbach

On 22 April 2010, he announced that he would transfer to German club Borussia Mönchengladbach at the end of the season.[2]

Back to Standard Liège

On 8 July 2013, De Camargo signed a three-year contract at his former club Standard Liège.

KRC Genk

On 23 June 2015, KRC Genk signed De Camargo from Standard Liège, with he returning to his first professional club on a 24-month deal.[3]

APOEL

On 15 July 2016, De Camargo signed a two-year contract with reigning Cypriot champions APOEL FC.[4] He made his official debut on 27 July 2016, coming on as a 77th minute substitute in his team's 2–1 away defeat against Rosenborg BK for the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.[5] He scored his first goal for APOEL on 10 September 2016, netting the third goal in his team's 4–0 away victory against Nea Salamina for the Cypriot First Division.[6] Five days later, De Camargo scored the winner in APOEL's 2–1 home victory over FC Astana for the group stage of the UEFA Europa League.[7]

International career

After De Camargo received Belgian nationality, he was called up to the Belgium national team and made his debut against Slovenia in February 2009. He appeared in nine matches during his international career with Belgium, but without managing to score.
