Idia Aisien (born, July 4, 1991) is a Nigerian-Cameroonian graduate of journalism, television presenter, actress and a model. Aisien first gained media attention at the age of 15, when she finished high school and modeled for UNICEF Charity Fashion Show.[1][2]

In November 2015, Elle described her as being "Smart. Strong. Funny. Complicated. Deep".[3]

Early life

Aisien was born on July 4, 1991[4] in Nigeria, to parents Dr. Joe Aisien Ogbebor and Emmanella Abiodun Aisien. Born by a Cameroonian mother, while are father is a Nigerian.

As a teenager, she attended Atlantic Hall High School, in Lagos. In 2015, While Aisien[5] in the United State she attained a B.A in Journalism from the American University in Washington DC, she moved on and also attained an M.S in International Public Relations and Global Corporate Communication while she co-currently works with the Peace Building Commission Of The United Nation.

Career

Over the years, Aisien worked with media companies the likes of Fox 5 News, AARP Foundations and the Foreign Policy Initiative, she has also modeled for many top-notch brands, some of which are BMW,[6] Vogue, LAN Airlines, Black Opal, Nivea, Alice + Olivia, J Brand, Cashhimi, Samantha Pleet, Jovani, Evelyn Lambert, Nikki Angelique, An Alili and Sway Hair. She has grew up to become a model in her own right. Idia host some of the top television program's in Nigeria, like You Got Issues, Style 101 Mega Millions Lottery Draw and Style 101.[7][8]
