IMS Learning Resources is an India-based training company preparing students for entrance examinations for competitive and professional courses.[1] The company was founded in 1977 by Prof. Nagesh Rane which has current presence of over 70 centres across 44 cities including Mumbai, Delhi Jodhpur, Jaipur, Mysore [2] etc. in India.
History
The company was founded in 1977 by Professor Nagesh Rane to help students prepare for various admission processes to MBA schools in the Tardeo area of Mumbai with 7 students. From a small table space in Tardeo catering to 7 students, IMS outgrew city limits as an all-India correspondence course and later to 140 centres across the length and breadth of the country. The students who took up an international education on his advice crossed national borders as well. The fold has spread to the top B-schools across the country. [3]
