Homona mermerodes is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae. It was described from the Solomon Islands,[2] but is also found in Australia (Queensland), New Guinea and Seram. The habitat consists of bamboo, secondary forests and alluvial forests.[3]

Adults have blotchy brown forewings and plain brown hindwings.

The larvae are highly polyphagous.[4] They are yellow with a black head. When full grown, they reach a length of about 15 mm.[5]
