Hizen-Nagata Station

Hizen-Nagata Station (肥前長田駅, Hizennagata-eki) is a railway station in Nagata Town, Isahaya, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by JR Kyushu and is on the Nagasaki Main Line.

Layout

Hizen-Nagata Station is located above ground and has two facing side platforms with a total of two tracks. It faces on National Route 207, but has no exit to the road. It is an unmanned station with an automatic ticket machine.

History

March 24, 1934 - Opening by the Japanese Government Railways
June 6, 1976 - The track from Tosu to Nagasaki is electrified.
April 1, 1987 - Railways privatize and Hizen-Nagata Station is inherited by JR Kyushu.
