Henare Matua
Henare Matua (c.1838–1894) was a New Zealand tribal leader, reformer and politician. Of Māori descent, he identified with the Ngati Kahungunu iwi. He was born in Nukutaurua, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.[1]
