Havakazoo is an award winning British pre-school series which aired on Channel Five's Milkshake strand. It was one of the first original programs to air when it launched in 1997.
The show centres around a puppet dog called Watch Dog and two fleas, Tic and Toc. The fleas live inside Watch Dog's fur, without his knowledge Watch Dog keeps a lookout for things outside a window, and tells the time. The show also featured a character called Messy, a spin dryer made out of unused material, and Nosey, a camcorder who would show clips from the outside world.
Gabrielle Bradshaw and Jason Maverick presented as themselves for the first two series. From 1999, Naomi Wilkinson was introduced as "Pipper" and comedian Andy Ford as Patrick the baker.
All puppets were created by Hands Up Puppets.[1]
