Hatsushima (初島) is an island in Sagami Bay, Japan. It is reached by ferry from the city of Atami, Shizuoka, about 10 kilometres to the north-west of the island. The population as of 2012 was 215, and the island is part of the city of Atami. A Deep Sea Observatory is located close to the island.
