Hans Olsson (born 27 August 1984, in Mora, Sweden) is a Swedish alpine skier. He represented Sweden at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver,[1] where he came 12th in downhill. Olsson specialises in the speed disciplines of super-G and particularly downhill.
Olsson is the brother of Jon Olsson, alpine ski racer and a prolific freestyle skier who has won multiple Winter X Games medals. Olsson had a career high world ranking of 12th in downhill and is currently ranked 13th. His current world ranking in super-G is 78th, super combined is 106th, giant slalom is 98th and slalom skiing slalom is 114th. The career highlights of Olsson include podium finishes in World Cup races at Lake Louise, Canada, and Åre, Sweden, in 2008 and 2009 respectively. Olsson currently resides in Innsbruck, Austria. He is a multi-lingual, speaking Swedish, German and English.
