Hanoi International School is an elementary and secondary school in Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, Vietnam.[1] It is an accredited member of the Council of International Schools[2] and New England Association of Schools and Colleges[3] (NEASC).
Hanoi International School also prepares students for the International Baccalaureate[4] and Cambridge IGCSE.[5]The school is a founding member of the Mekong River International Schools Association (MRISA).[6]
History
Founded in 1996, Hanoi International School has a current enrollment of 289 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The school's students are mainly from three racial groups: Japanese, Vietnamese and Korean, with 36 additional nationalities represented. The average enrollment of students is 3,4 years.[7]
Curriculum
The school offers PYP to students in grades Kindergarten to Grade 5, the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and the Australian National Curriculum for students in grades 6 to 8, the Cambridge IGCSE for students in Grade 9 & 10; and Grades 11 & 12 take The International Baccalaureate Diploma.[7]
