Hakuna Matoma is the debut studio album produced and conducted by DJ and record producer Matoma. It was released on 13 November 2015 through Warner Music Group. It features collaborations and vocals from the likes of Becky Hill, Dua Lipa, Christopher, Sean Paul, KStewart, Coldplay, Astrid S, Popcaan, Wale, Akon, Madcon, FRIENSHIP, D-Boy, Jason Derulo, Jennifer Lopez, Nico & Vinz, One Direction, The Notorious B.I.G., Ralph Tresvant and Ja Rule.[1]
Singles
The album's lead single was "Old Thing Back" which was collaborated with The Notorious B.I.G. and features vocals from Ralph Tresvant and Ja Rule. It was released on 30 April 2015 and was done so as Matoma's debut single.
The second single that was released was "Running Out" which was collaborated with Astrid S. It was released on 31 March 2016.
The third single and Matoma's breakthrough single was "False Alarm" which was collaborated with rising popstar and previous The Voice UK contestant Becky Hill. It was released on 5 August 2016 and ended up getting rated as one of the most popular songs of 2016.
