HTY MAV is a micro air vehicle (MAV) developed by Beijing Hao-Tian-Yi (meaning Vast Sky Wing) Aviation Technology Co. Ltd. (HTY, 北京浩天翼航空技术有限公司). Completed in early 2009, the MAV was deployed in Wenchuan County in April 2009 for post disaster surveying missions of landscape change caused by the 2008 Sichuan earthquake. In September of the same year, HTY MAV was deployed on Xuě Lóng for polar missions.[1] Specification:
- Weight: < 10 kg
- Range: > 100 km
- Daytime payload: CCD camera
- Nighttime payload: Infrared camera
