The Pagidipalli–Nallapadu section is a single line section in Guntur railway division of South Central Railway.[1][2]

History

The Guntur-Macherla section was opened in 1930.[3] It was a Metre gauge line earlier. Later it was to converted Broad gauge. This line was used during the construction of Nagarjuna Sagar Dam.

Route

This route starts from Pagidipalli and passes through Nadikudi, Sattenapalle, Piduguralla and joins Nallapadu near Guntur.
