Gregory Blair is an award-winning American actor, writer, director and producer.[1]
Life
He studied in and around Southern California, including at UCLA. As a character actor, Blair has portrayed fall guys (The Great Venice Robbery), villains (Freudian Eyebrow) and everything in between. He is listed as one of "The 20 Most Underated Bad Guys on Television and Film"[2] though he is also just as often cast in comedic roles, including his recurring role on TVOne's "Love That Girl!".[1] Awards include a Geoffrey Award for Best Character Actor for his role in Sylvia, a Stonewall Award for his novel Spewing Pulp, and an EOTM Award for "Best Director of an Indie Horror Film" for Deadly Revisions.[3]
Career
As an actor, Gregory has graced the stage (Sylvia, Working, Six Degrees of Separation, etc.) the big screen (On The Rocks, Ooga Booga, Samurai Avenger, etc.), and the small screen (Amazing Sports Stories, Love That Girl!, Alternate History, etc.).[4]
As a writer, Gregory has been represented on stage (Cold Lang Syne,[5] The Last Banana and Nicholas Nickleby[6]), and in prose offerings such as The Ritual, Little Shivers and the Stonewall Award winning Spewing Pulp[7]). He has written over a dozen screenplays and received various accolades, including 1st place in the Horror Screenplay Contest.[8] and "Best Screeplay" in the Fantastic Horror Film Festival.[9] Current screenplays sold and/or in production include "Garden Party Massacre", "Heretiks" and Deadly Revisions—which Blair also directed and helped produce—from PIX/SEE Productions.[10]
