Grayslake Station is a commuter railroad station on Metra's Milwaukee District/North Line in Grayslake, Illinois. The station is located on the corner of Lake Street and Saint Paul Street, is 41 miles (66 km) away from Union Station, the southern terminus of the line,[1] and serves commuters between Union Station and Fox Lake, Illinois. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Grayslake is in zone I.
Many trains on the MD-N terminate at Grayslake, mainly during weekday rush hours. The current public timetable shows 5 trains terminating at Grayslake daily.
Parking is available on both sides of the tracks, along the east side of Lake Street, the south side of St. Paul Street, and north of the intersection of St. Paul and Slusser Streets.
Grayslake Station is one of the only two stations north of Lake Forest which has more than one platform or track. Another station exists in Grayslake on Washington Street along Metra's North Central Service line. No connection is available to Washington Street Station, however.
