Gordon Dooley
Gordon Dooley (1899 - 23 January 1930) was a vaudeville comedian and eccentric dancer.[1]
Biography
He was born in 1899 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Mary and Robert Roger Dooley, a circus performer. His parents had migrated from Scotland. His two brothers and sister were also performers, William Dooley (vaudeville) (1882-1921), and Johnny Dooley (vaudeville) (1887-1928), and Rachel Rice Dooley.[1]
He had a nervous breakdown in May 1929.[1]
He died on 23 January 1930 of pneumonia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, Pennsylvania.[1]
