Gonzalo Peillat (born 12 August 1992) is an Argentine field hockey player. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed for the national team. Gonzalo won the bronze medal at the 2014 World Cup where he was the top scorer of the tournament with 10 goals [1] and the gold medal at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada. His best achievement comes at the Field hockey at the 2016 Summer Olympics-Men's tournament where he won Gold medal for Argentina. He scored 11 goals in the tournament and become highest scorer of the tournament. He scored a stunning hatrick against Germany in the semifinal of his side's 5-2 goal's victory over reigning Olympic champion Germany. In then final against Belgium he also scored one goal against Belgium and helps Argentina to achieve their first ever gold medal in Olympic games hockey.
